A white porcelain baluster vase banded in 24k gold, painted with a pair of tits on a flowering plum branch — pink blossom and red berries on a white ground. Signed by the artist at the foot. Supplied on its turned wooden display stand.
Franklin Porcelain was the porcelain arm of the American Franklin Mint, which issued collector series by subscription through the 1970s and 80s, produced in fine porcelain in Japan.
