A Royal Albert Autumn Roses teacup and saucer, made in England. A warm bouquet of magenta, peach and white roses with grey-green foliage, set off by a broad, heavy gold band at the rim and a gilded ornate handle, on the footed Montrose cup shape.
This is the smaller lady-size cup, the one made for an afternoon rather than a mug of tea. The deep pink palette and generous gilding give it a richer, more formal look than the everyday rose patterns.
