A Franklin Porcelain collector vase, made in Japan, from its Japanese bird-and-blossom series. A white porcelain baluster vase banded in 24k gold, painted with a Japanese white-eye among the red and orange leaves of a Japanese maple. Supplied on its turned wooden display stand.
Franklin Porcelain was the porcelain arm of the American Franklin Mint, which issued collector series by subscription through the 1970s and 80s, produced in fine porcelain in Japan.
