Windsor white wine glasses, set of 2, in clear 24% lead crystal with a platinum rim. The bowl carries an etched scrolling band below the rim and a diamond-cut lower section that catches the light. Capacity 260 ml. Hand wash only.
The Windsor shape belongs to the classic European cut-crystal tradition: a tall drawn stem, a wide-shouldered bowl and a polished band left plain for the metal rim. Platinum banding was favoured over gold on clear crystal because it reads cooler against an uncoloured bowl. Made by Luxsor.
